Daily Kos :: Moore Videos from Ohio Appear

Kos

You may recall that Michael Moore recruited volunteers to assist with video in Ohio and Florida on election day. One of the videos has finally hit, and it doesn't look pretty. It's not clear from the video how many votes were affected, but what is clear is that Republicans were on the ground in black precincts. It will be interesting to see what else starts to emerge from the Moore camp.

For information on reported voter intimidation

machine failures, and other issues, voteprotect.org is a good place to go. Here is their Florida list, for example.

I said before that I did not think these voter intimidation efforts had much demonstrable effect on turnout. After looking at things for a few days, I'm hedging that statement a bit. For example, calls in Orange County (Orlando) and other Florida counties suggest a coordinated effort to contact voters and tell them that their precinct or polling place had changed when in fact it had not. In other counties, Republican challengers showed up at the polls not only with the 'felon lists', but with pictures of 'felons' who were not to be allowed to vote. Both in FL and OH, there are some pretty grim things in the reports, but the scope is unclear.
